Cancer Drugs Fund Consultation – NHS England and NICE

December 16, 2015

NHS England and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) have launched a 12-week public consultation seeking views about proposals for the future direction of the Cancer Drugs Fund (CDF).

During the consultation period, which runs until 11 February 2016, NHS England and NICE will be hosting a number of webinars to enable you to hear more about the proposals, and to ask questions. The aim is to provide you with an opportunity to learn more, and clarify any points, so that you can contribute your views to the online consultation in an informed way.

Please see below for details of the webinars running before Christmas. They will be in touch in the New Year with further webinar dates.

Webinars

There will be two webinars before Christmas:

  • Thursday 17 December – 11:00am
  • Thursday 17 December – 1:00pm

Each of the webinars will last for approximately 1.5 hours and are both open to anybody with an interest in the future direction of the CDF. Additional webinars will be organised in the New Year, some of which will be targeted at specific audiences e.g. patient groups and charities.

Each webinar is limited to 40 places. Once capacity for a webinar has been reached, you will not be able to join. In this case, please register for another event, or look out for details of further events in the New Year. We will sending out another email like this one as soon as we have the additional dates.

To register for the webinars, please email your details to england.voice-crg@nhs.net and you will be sent joining instructions.
