Share your views: Dementia support draft guidance from NICE

The consultation is seeking your views on Dementia – Assessment, Management, and support for people living with Dementia and their carers.
The draft guidance they are seeking views on covers diagnosing and managing dementia, and supporting people living with dementia and their carers. It aims to improve care by making recommendations on training staff and on helping carers to support people living with dementia.

As the guidance document acknowledges, providing care is very complex and as such has led to wide variation in practice to support the range of symptoms those living with dementia face.
