Have your say on SEND Services in Birmingham

October 12, 2018

From Birmingham Voluntary Services Council (BVSC).
BVSC has been asked to undertake a survey of anyone who has experience of using Birmingham’s Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) services, in order to review and understand its users’ experiences.
Purpose for survey: Birmingham was inspected by OFSTED and CQC in June 2018 to judge the effectiveness of the City in implementing the special educational needs and disability (SEND) reforms as set out in the Children and Families Act 2014.
Who can take part?

  • Parents and Carers
They want to hear from you if you are (or have been) a parent or a carer of a child or young person (up to the age of 18) accessing SEND services.
  • Voluntary Sector Representatives
Although the survey questions are tailored towards parents and carers, they would also like to hear from voluntary sector representatives who have direct experience of SEND services via their beneficiaries.

The survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous. The survey closes on Friday 9 November 2018.
