Become a Governor at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Are you passionate about excellent healthcare provision in your local community?

Do you feel you can represent the views of the communities where you live?

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust want people like you to join their Council of Governors. Birmingham Community Healthcare provide community and specialist services to children and adults throughout their lifetime.

They deliver more than 100 clinical services in people’s homes and in over 200 hospitals, health centres and clinics – they works in your communities so need services to reflect your needs.

They’re looking for people with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds to join our Council of Governors – help bring all communities into Birmingham Community Healthcare.

Governor elections open on Monday 11th January 2021 until 5pm on Monday 8th February 2021 for you to nominate yourself to stand to in the NHS Governor election.

They are seeking to elect seven public governors who are aged 16 and over who live within Birmingham.

Nominations must be submitted by 5pm on Monday 8th February.

There is a virtual awareness session about the role and the election process on 27th January 2021. If you would like to join this session or alternatively have an informal discussion about the role them please email FT@bhamcommunity.nhs.uk or call 0121 466 7023.

If you do not wish to stand in the elections, you can still play an important part in who represents your views and those of your community by voting for your governor. To do this, join for free as a public member. Click here to sign up before Thursday, 11th February 2021 to vote in this election.
