Can you help NICE update guidance on complex fractures?

April 7, 2022

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) produces guidance on the most effective ways to prevent, diagnose and treat disease and ill health, and provide social care support.

NICE is currently looking for patients and their unpaid carers, as well as their advocates, to join the committee updating guidelines on complex fractures. This will look at whether negative wound pressure therapy (a treatment that involves drawing out fluid and infection from a wound to help it heal) is more effective compared to standard dressing therapy in people with an open fracture of their lower leg.

If you have recent experience or knowledge of the area please apply here. Recruitment is open until midnight on Tuesday 3 May 2022. You will be paid a fee to attend meetings and NICE will cover travel and other expenses.
