Can you help to redesign Stroke services in West Birmingham?

August 2, 2022

As part of the preparation needed for the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH) in Smethwick, Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust (SWBH) is working closely with the Stroke Association and Black Country and Birmingham and Solihull Headway organisations to ensure that they engage the right people to ensure Stroke services are fit for the future. SWBH will need to make changes to how and where it delivers Acute Stroke care and Stroke Rehabilitation services and would welcome your help to ensure services are designed in a way that helps patients to understand what is happening to them and supports their recovery in a meaningful and appropriate way.

SWBH is looking for anyone who lives in West Birmingham who has suffered a Stroke themselves or has supported a friend or relative on their Stroke journey, to join a conversation about how to deliver better Stroke care.
