Find out how NHS 111 First will affect you

Healthwatch Birmingham and Sandwell & West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group (SWB CCG) invite you to come and find out about:

NHS 111 First

NHS 111 First is a new service which aims to reduce overcrowding and risk of Covid 19 in hospital Accident and Emergency (A & E) departments.

Patients will be asked to call NHS 111 before they go to the A & E department, NHS 111 will then book them into a time slot at A & E, or at the most appropriate local service for their needs.

Dr Ian Sykes, Clinical Chair of SWB CCG will give a presentation and there will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions.

Date: Tuesday 16th February 2021

Time: 12noon-1.00pm

This will be on an online meeting.
