How patient feedback has improved hospital waiting rooms

Patients in Birmingham will experience shorter waiting times, better appointment calling and more support for people with disabilities among other improvements made to hospital waiting rooms following our ‘What is it like being in a hospital waiting room: People’s experiences in Birmingham’.

We listened to the experiences of patients in waiting rooms, and compiled them into a series of recommendations for NHS trusts in the city. Our new impact report ‘How patient feedback has improved hospital waiting rooms’ details the changes the trusts made in order to provide a better patient experience.
