Routes Healthcare (West Midlands) Ltd adopt Feedback Centre Widget

March 6, 2018

Routes Healthcare (West Midlands) Ltd has become the latest organisation to adopt Healthwatch Birmingham’s Feedback Centre Widget.
Service users of Routes Healthcare in Birmingham can now share their experiences by visiting their website directly. The Widget is linked to Healthwatch Birmingham’s online Feedback Centre, which provides people with a way to rate and review health and social care services across the city.
Routes Healthcare provides care and support for the elderly, disabled and vulnerable in their own homes. They offer personalised domiciliary care, home help, palliative care, live in support and befriending services. Adopting the Widget will support the service to capture the views of their clients and understand how people are rating the quality of care and treatment experienced.
Routes Healthcare West Midlands Ltd stated: “We pride ourselves on friendly fast response, working efficiently and keeping everyone informed. We believe in good communication with our service users’ needs and preferences. All of our staff both in the office and carers work as a team with our service users to give a caring service that meets their needs and keeps them safe in their own home.”

Feedback received will be featured through the Widget on Routes Healthcare’s website at: https://www.routeshealthcare-wm.com/.

Service users can share their views about what is good about the service and where improvements could be made. People can submit their experiences anonymously. Healthwatch Birmingham does not share the personal details of reviewers without permission.
Jackie Spencer, Head of Patient and Public Involvement, at Healthwatch Birmingham said: “We have worked really hard over recent months to promote our widget and it is great to see providers receiving the benefits of this tool. Our widget empowers patients to have their views heard and contributes greatly to influencing changes within health and social care service.”
Other recent adopters of the Feedback Centre Widget include Aman Care, Digby Manor and NDH Care. They join other organisations taking advantage of the free tool, which is being offered to all Birmingham organisations providing NHS health, social care or wellbeing services. The ‘rate and review widget’ operates in a similar way to consumer platforms such as TripAdvisor.
