Support your local community and the NHS

Do you understand what’s important to the people in your local community who use NHS services in Birmingham and Solihull? Could you spare the time to pass this on and help us to improve our services?

If so, University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) is looking for people to put themselves forward to become a governor.

UHB is the home of Good Hope Hospital, Heartlands Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Solihull Hospital and is recognised as one of the leading NHS hospital trusts in the UK.

Being a governor an important role and one in which you can play a key part in supporting your local NHS.

If you’re interested in standing for election as a governor, you can put yourself forward from 09 April until 08 May.

UHB has 12 vacancies across 11 constituencies in this year’s election, including: Solihull and Meriden; Sutton Coldfield North; Quinton, Halesowen and Southwest; Birmingham Southwest; Birmingham Heartlands; Birmingham West; Birmingham Reservoirs; Birmingham Central; Lichfield Northwest and Northeast; Tamworth; and Rest of England and Wales.
