Welcome to our Board Volunteer Representatives

Our volunteers play a vital role in ensuring Healthwatch Birmingham and Healthwatch Solihull make a real difference to local health and social care services. We believe it’s crucial that their voice is heard and valued at every level of the organisation – particularly in influencing the strategic decisions of our Board. We are therefore delighted to announce that longstanding Board Volunteer Representative Tim will now be joined by Jenny, emphasising the varied skills and experience volunteers bring to our work, and the impact our volunteers have in their own and wider communities of Birmingham and Solihull.

Speaking about her appointment, Jenny said ‘I am happy to take on the role of Volunteer Board Representative. I look forward to passing volunteer feedback and experiences to the Board as I believe this is an important part of the process to ensure all Solihull NHS services users have a chance for their voices to be heard. It has been great to start working alongside Tim and I hope we can work together to make a difference.’ Tim adds, ‘It’s a pleasure to join with Jenny to be a joint volunteer rep team. I’m confident we can both present the board with relevant and helpful information.’
