What do you think of food and nutrition in hospitals?
Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust (SWBH) wants to talk to patients, their carers, and local people about improving food and nutrition in hospitals. It’s much more than the menu and quality of food on offer. Providing a range of healthy food choices, having someone available to assist you to eat, if required, are all important parts of your experience whilst in care.
You are invited to join SWBH on Monday 20th June at 6.30 p.m. in the Education Centre, at Sandwell Hospital. They will talk to you about plans to improve food and nutrition, and the catering team will be providing food for you to sample, and we will be on hand to hear your feedback.
As part of this work, SWBH is looking to establish a Food and Nutrition ‘Patients’ Panel, which will advise on service improvements and overall experience. If you are interested in knowing more about the panel and how you can get involved, please contact SWBH on the number or email address below.
To book a place on the food and nutrition sharing and sampling session, please contact the engagement team on 0121 507 2671 or email swbh.engagement@nhs.net. Places are limited so it will be on a first come first basis.
