Staff are good take

Staff are good take really good care of her. Twice stayed, good when she’s been an inpatient. Good always kept appointments on time. One time we travelled from home to get here and was about to arrive that we were told no bed space is available.

Brilliant, nothing bad to say regarding staff and appointments. Used it quite a lot. They are really good.
No concern or urgency from staff

Hot drinks machine was not working but charged one patient almost £9 which they were very upset about. They had spoken to receptionist who said there is nothing we can do, its not ours. The receptionist said there is a out of order sign which somebody keeps taking off. No concern or urgency from staff about it. £9 can be a lot of money for people. Staff advised call out number on machine but not very helpful for stressed parents of sick child.
Discharge wasn’t good

Ward 7 – the care was great but the discharge wasn’t good.. felt like I had been kicked out. Needed the bed. So they made us go and they didn’t understand the situation. Daughter missed 2 feeds after 3 week admission, that day they needed the bed for other patient but we were still there. They did not think about the patient that was already there and our mental health. Had to wait downstairs. I get why they are doing it, but its not the right was to do it. Its not a nice feeling.
Dietitian really good

Dietitian really good always get back to me really quickly. Gave me some milk to tie me over until we could get the feed the next day. Left at the welcome desk.
Waiting times has reduced

It’s been fine waiting times have reduced. If you haven’t been seen in 30 mins they tell you to come and let them know. Hard to get in contact paediatrics secretary as they are on holiday and could not contact them.
Nothing but amazing

Nothing but amazing. Can’t fault them at all. Follow up appointment from stay in intensive care.
The consultant was fine

Fine used in past. Been here for 4 hours previously and its been quite long to see a consultant. The consultant was fine when spoken to. I think there were lot of people waiting to see them that day. Blood test, appointment at 11am come earlier but it’s a ticket system.
hospital have been great

Granddaughter being checked for one kidney and cyst. Hospital have been fantastic with handling situation although my granddaughter is now nearly 4 months, I feel it may have been a bit quicker with checking her over. But perhaps that is how long you have to wait. Cannot give bad comment as hospital have been great. Lets hope the outcome is great too.
