All okay

I've come for an antenatal check up, all has been okay, I was seen on time. Great staff, great hospital. I am happy coming here.
Long waits for consultant
April 20, 2023
Very good but I'm not always seen on time. Can wait a long time to see the consultant. I had a scan which I was seen on time for but I've been waiting over an hour to see the consultant. I was the first one here, but other people have been going in before me after arriving after me. The same thing happened the last time too. Bit frustrating. The care is good though.
They're amazing

Had my son here in November 2021 and they were amazing. He was in NICU for a couple of days, he was moved to transition care after. I stayed in the hospital a few weeks before having him, the care was great, they couldn't have done enough. I can today for my first scan, haven't been waiting long and they've been great so far.
On the ball with my care

Good, diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Had an appointment today to record blood sugar levels and when they see that they're elevated, they will contact me and tell me what to do. They've been on the ball with my care.
Really good in general - parking not great
April 17, 2023
It took me 35/40 minutes to find a parking space today so I was 30 minutes late for my appointment, but they still saw me very quickly. They're good in general. When I had my blood sugar test, I felt really faint and they walked me down to someone to make sure someone was there to look after me.
Negligent, provided no aftercare
Gynaecology

I was pressured into an invasive removal procedure. Still to this day I don't know what procedure this was, nor was it explained to me the risks or after-effects.
I experienced rapid blood loss and collapsed in the ward after I had been left to my own accord immediately after the procedure. The procedure was conducted with the bed at the wrong angle for my height, and I had no place for my personal belongings or clothes. These went on the floor.
I was provided no aftercare - which shocked the fantastic nurses who came to my help after I collapsed.
Whilst the ward nurses were incredible, they should not have had to compensate for the atrocious disregard and dangerous practices undertaken by the consultant and the nurse with him.
This was a near-miss.

Love it

Love it - it's great. Its a good hospital with good staff. I'm always seen quickly in triage and kept well informed about my care. The car parking is a bit of a nightmare and they can sometimes rearrange your appointment at the last minute.
Its great - they explain things

Been in and out of here, it is great. There's plenty out there worse off. It's what you make of it. It's your own attitude. Theres good communication too. I've had two appointments within 3 days and that's a good thing. They explain to me so I know why I have these appointments and its all available on the app.
Good

I had a mammogram and it was fine. It's a long way to travel but my friend took me. They were good, just long time to get there, They sent me a letter within good time of the appointment too. They were good.
Hit and miss
April 13, 2023
Hit and miss – waiting year and a half for appointment because there was an issue in getting an appointment. I chased it up and was given an appointment quite quickly. Didn’t have to go through GP for a referral again. Initially came in through A&E as we couldn’t get an appointment but then found out she has a rare genetic disorder. This was during COVID when couldn’t see GP. Now we are under the ROH and see various departments.
