I was at the A&E department two years ago. It was good. I waited in a room for 2 hours and they did some bloods and sent me for scans and an ECG on the same day. They got the results and then sent me home.
Too long to wait

The waiting time used to be very long and for my elderly mother she couldn't sit that long in pain. She was in her 90's. It took too long to see someone.

I was in intensive care and the staff were good. Good treatment explanations and the care was good.
The op went well

I had surgery for a hernia last June and it all went well. There wasn't any follow up after the surgery but they did say to go to A&E if anything was seriously wrong.

I had a scan for my back last September and they said I would need to contact my GP for a referral for physio. I'm still waiting.
A dirty hospital

I found the receptionist rude here and the wait was long at the chest clinic. It's a dirty hospital. The nurses are good, I feel sorry for them as they get the brunt of everything.

Went to A&E and treatment was alright but it was quite scary as there was all sorts there and some people were very confrontational.

I had an infusion and was taken well care of. The nurses were very helpful. I have been lucky and not experienced any problems.
