So hard to see the doctor.. Hardly open!
June 28, 2021
It is so hard to see the doctor.
We Can never get through to them, when I go in they say I have to call as no one is allowed in the surgery make appointments due to covid. After hours of trying to get through sometimes days when and if we finally do get through we get told no appointments available.. if somehow they do decide to give you, (after literally begging for one) it’s a telephone consultation only! So how do we get an appointment to see the doctor?! I understand covid has changed things but this hasn’t been great even before covid! They are only open a few hours on the morning and a couple in the evening. They close on Wednesday and Thursday.. So what’s the point of them being there?!

Awful reception services. Phone does not get answered. Very rude staff
A lot of doctors, around 5 or 6, all but 2 didnt seem to listen to what I was saying. One just fobbed me off and made out as though I was making it up

I have had to take my mom with me to be listened to by older doctors and I am an adult and shouldn't have to. I was told that my problem was that I was 'too Westernized.' I feel that when I try to take the advice of the doctors and then carry out, when I come back to them and say it hasn't worked they are not willing to come up with alternatives. Which I feel is due to cost.
