Getting an appointment
June 28, 2022
The surgery used to be friendly and caring, it is so confusing for elderly patients to deal with appointments etc now. Dr Aneja told my dad you can book a routine appointment for 2 weeks time , but the receptionist say you can not . Confusing unhelpful my father said he could be dead before he can see a Doctor lol
I was treated very bad

Rude reception staff
June 16, 2021
The doctors here are amazing and I can not fault them. Unfortunately the reception staff (not all) can be very rude. They demand to know over the phone what you want to see a doctor about which I find very intruding. That is between the patient and doctor. When you tell them that you would not like to discus that with them, they are reluctant to give you an appointment. You can very rarely get an appointment when you first ring up and can take a few days or even weeks , by that time sometimes you don't need to see a doctor. They say you can't pre book appointments but yet in the waiting room there is/was a poster up saying that you can.

Never get an appointment

They are absolutely rubbish. The receptionist thinks they are Doctors. Never get an appointment when you really need one.
Service Not Helpful

I took my teenage son (17) to GP because he is experiencing mental health issues - depression. GP told us there is nothing they can do- they want to refer him to counselling. We just have to go to a drop-in service in Digbeth or pause. He just falls in between services because of his age. It is also really difficult to keep waiting in waiting room for a teenager let alone family who have smaller siblings etc. My son refuses to go so he is not setting any help at all. Mental health treatment not helpful, other services helpful.
