Impossible to get a doctor’s appointment
May 9, 2022
It is impossible to get a doctor’s appointment. You can't get past reception. My husband is 78 years is diabetic and is at start of dementia but we have to do phone calls. Would change doctors but they all seem the same. God help us, what's happened to our lovely NHS.
Still no doctors appointment
August 13, 2021
Tile Cross Surgery is still not open for Dr's appointment, you can see an HCA to take your blood. We have to ring sister practice Church Road for appointments of any kind. 1 Surgery in effect serving 2 practice patients. When you ring at 08.00 you never get through, when you do it says we have reached capacity, please phone again later. You keep trying then it says you are number 15 in the group waiting, this has taken 40 mins at times, really not good enough. Dr's aren't looking at test results early enough.
Rude Receptionist
June 8, 2021
The Receptionists are very rude and often argue with the patients even when the Doctor has told the Patient to book in again to see them in 4 weeks the receptionists refuse to give you the appointment and say call on the day you call and if you eventually get through get through get told no appointments for about 6 weeks you explain the Doctor said you must be seen to make sure how you are getting on with new medication and side effects as some of them are serious.

reperscripton only 1 out of 7 given
January 9, 2020
Asked receptionist how to remind doctor to change a medication as advised, with a tut the reperscription note was taken from me and something written on it ,I asked her if I should put it in the box she replied I’ll do it . Whilst this was going on the phone was ringing her colleague was asking about tea or coffee to which was said phones will have to wait . I go to pharmacist and only one item prescribed for a heart condition I’ve had for 9 years. The experience tells me tea and coffee are more important than patients welfare, and all impolitely done.
Absolutely disgusting and rude receptionists

I lost one of my inhalers and need some desperately, I rang up the surgery and I am getting abuse saying I should give 48 hours notice and they are not prepared to help me, they then put the phone down on me because I asked them why they couldn't help me and why they are not taking my asthma seriously. On a previous instance they did allow me to get a prescription over the phone and was able to collect same day. Being severe asthmatic I am very concerned not just for myself but other people about there health as the receptionists think they are god.
Totally unprofessional receptionists!!

Receptionists have a 'not my job' attitude. No empathy for patients and their circumstances. Unable to pre book appointments... How many people can take the day off work on the off chance of booking an in day appointment. Ridiculous system not fit for purpose!
