Had carpal tunnel release surgery

July 19, 2019
Had to get my bandage changed they used a plaster for it as they had no padding in stock, also used my old bandage to wrap around my hand. Ask to re-change it and there is no available apps for the foreseeable future. There the worst doctors to date. Half the receptionists just don't help.

Good service but long waiting time

February 12, 2019
I have been an addict for 15 years and started to attend Warstock Lane about 1-2 years ago as referred by my general practitioner. Previously, I have attended rehab, however found it difficult to receive help and to see a psychiatrist. It took a really long time to get any help. Generally, the GP dealt with my mental health issues well, although the waiting time was really long. They have been on top of things.

doctors good but rude receptionists

November 15, 2018
The GP surgery is OK, but receptionists do not have patience and they are not sympathetic.
On many occasions, my child was unwell and they couldn’t give me an appointment. I just accepted it, however after speaking with my mom. She called the GP and managed to get an appointment same day after telling them they can’t turn children away. My mom now calls all appointments for her 12 grandchildren. When I go I have to often go with my other children and wait in the waiting room.
Sometimes I have to wait for 40 minutes in the waiting room and with many children it’s not easy.
They tell children to be quiet, it’s not a child-friendly place. They could have a carer for children to help keep them entertained. The doctors are fine, it’s just the receptionists’ attitude.

Doctors good but needs improvement

November 15, 2018
When children especially those with special needs, are ill It is very difficult to get appointments. Children should be a priority. Maybe they could have a separate team for children. Even to ensure that the practice nurse could see children the same day.
In order to get an appointment you have to call 8am. It could take 40 minutes to get through. If you can’t get an appointment you’re just told to go to the walk-in centre or children’s hospital. There you may end up waiting for 7-9 hours.
Once you get through the doctors are great but the receptionists have attitude. Also, the changing facilities are not suitable for children with special needs.

The service is very good and Drs are fantastic, waiting time too set though and make/wait for an appointment isn’t very good as you are waiting a while.

Went for a check up and they suggested a full M.O.T. They made sure I was in good health all round.
