Everyone has been wonderful. Positive energy, friendly and good communication. No concerns around appointments. I've had a lovely experience here.

Felt like just a number

When I gave birth to my last child I felt like just a number. They don't track and monitor if you have diabetes either.

Had to fight for my partner to stay

Maternity

It's okay I've not had any problems. When I had my first child they did not let my partner stay with me. I had to fight when I had my second child. My partner stayed the first night only.

It's satisfactory

A lovely hospital. They have taken care of everything. Providing a prompt service. Consultations are satisfactory. The app however is not user friendly as it does not update the details, like the basic checks they do. Waiting time is also quite long and you can be sitting for 2 to 3 hours waiting.

Mixed opinions

I have mixed opinions on this hospital. Some family members have had bad experiences. They weren't diagnosed and lost a baby. They had water infections throughout their pregnancy.

Everything is going fine. I am seen regularly. There is a good mix of telephone and face to face appointments with the diabetes team. Everyone is quite friendly and informative.

I have been having bloods taken and antenatal checks. Everyone has been pleasant and I haven't felt uncomfortable. They answered my questions.

I waited for 6 hours on ward 8 emergency service when I was heavy bleeding from a miscarriage and there was only one doctor.
