An over worked system.

I had an emergency C section and couldn't move. I couldn't have my partner there. I kept being left and couldn't pick up my baby. They would pass me the baby and then go off. The aftercare was great and check on the baby but there is still a lot to do to improve the system as its over worked.

My son was born there during covid. During that time they were short of staff and everything was a struggle to do. Post covid things have improved.

The hospital staff were brilliant.

I had a tear giving birth. They should have been up to date on practices. They should have done more at prenatal classes where they spoke about breathing techniques but no information on stopping tears giving birth. I did feel supported by my midwife. I did feel really supported. I was referred onto gynaecology and they provided physio which has been brilliant. The hospital was brilliant, just unfortunate this happened to me.

My daughter was born there during covid. It was a horrible experience. My husband was not allowed to see me for 5 days and the staffing levels were very low.

I had to wait for the service a little bit due to missing information not being given which was important documentation. Other than that I will give them 4 stars.
