Maternity

Triage was okay. The stitches were resown back up after not being done properly. It left me very low on iron though.

They did nothing to help me

Day Assessment

The doctor couldn't cannulate me and I was dangerously low on iron. They did nothing about it. They weren't in a rush to do anything to help me.

Waiting for 8 hours to be seen only by midwife no food or drink offered chairs so uncomfortable waiting times are crazy for pregnant women like it isn’t bad for enough

Both of my grandkids were born over there. The care and treatment provided to my daughter in law was excellent.

Lack of communication

October 8, 2024
It's confusing, none of the departments talk to each other. They rely mostly on what I'm telling them. One doctor was annoyed that I couldn't tell them the diagnosis that another doctor had given me.

The maternity was good. Although they changed my delivery date and didn't inform me even when I arrived there. The staff apologised and sorted everything out.

I had an appointment there last week and it was alright. They did a cyst scan and it went alright. They said they will arrange the next one for me. This hospital is better than my GP.

On the waiting list

Fertility Centre

The wait at the hospital is very long. It's long you know. I received a letter at home that's it. Called the number, they tell me I'm on the waiting list. My age is going higher, my chance of conceiving is going lower.
