Good staff but long waiting times.

January 15, 2024
I waited 1 hour for the scan which took 20 minutes. It's difficult to sit because your waiting so long to see a doctor. Another common complaint and big problem is finding a parking space. I ended up parking in an awkward space. It isn't usually like this when I go for a scan or come on a different day. My last appointment I waited an hour as well. The staff are very good over here.

Over 3 hour waits to see a doctor after scan

January 15, 2024
I have been waiting for over 1 and a half hours. I had a scan and now waiting to see the doctor. The scan was very good and ran on time but to see the doctor you have to wait a very long time. There is no communication. I ask them how long and they say there are two people in front of you but you're still waiting a long time. I get very sleepy waiting to be seen. Last time I waited 3 hours for my appointment. If I am not seen soon I think I will just get my book and leave.

Waiting times are too long

January 15, 2024
Long waiting times. Every time I come it can be a long wait. You come for scans and you are seen within a reasonable amount of time but then the appointment after to see a doctor takes a long time. You can wait for hours. The staff are helpful but there could be more communication about waiting times.

Long waiting times. I've been waiting since 11:30am to see a doctor and haven't been told how much longer it's going to be. Everything is okay with the staff it's just the long waits.

The waiting times need to be improved

January 15, 2024
The waiting times for an appointment needs to improve. I had a scan and I waited 20 minutes for that. Then I waited god knows how long to see a doctor and it's now 1pm. It's a long day. Especially when you have kids at home and you have to get back. The staff are lovely when you get in and speak to them. It's just the wait.

The need more staff and better communication

January 15, 2024
They keep messing me about. I had a 12 week scan and then put me in the wrong clinic. I came for an appointment about the 12 week scan and I'm 18 weeks. They need more staff. The staff that are already on shift are working as hard as they can. They could do with far better communication. The staff are good though.

I have been waiting here for so long. I arrived just before 11:00am. I only came for a scan and now I have to wait for a doctor. They haven't said how long the wait will be but it's after 1pm. I haven't been communicated with.

The ward was like New Street station

January 9, 2024
It was okay, from a staff point of view they were brilliant. They do their best. The ward was like New Street Station. Lots of people on phones, busy and loud. It wasn't where I wanted to be. I couldn't have my husband with me as it night time but as I'd had a c section I didn't want to keep bothering them but I ended up discharging myself the next day. The care was good, I just wanted to be at home.
