Delays for support

August 21, 2023
No in-house assessment waiting for crisis team. This causes delays for woman with mental health and not getting help they need.

Good hospital, happy with care. They sometimes send letters clearly saying where to go for appointment.

Feel neglected

August 16, 2023
They have sent letter for appointment but they have not said what it is for. Communication has been shocking. Feel neglected in the lack of communication and I have still not met my midwife @ 23 weeks. Don’t break down information or tell me in a way that I understand even after telling them. I have ADHD.

They are brilliant

August 16, 2023
Since being under mental health team I have got more help than Longbridge CMHT. They are brilliant. They have picked up on things that have not been picked up on. They referred me onto perinatal mental health team and Bethal Doula network. Have been impressed, they have done more for my mental health than other mental health team.

Good communication

August 16, 2023
Been here a few times. Not too bad. Good communication and somewhat let me know what’s going on with my care. Getting around the hospital can be a bit of a maze. Staff have been helpful. Found the transfer of care to women’s seamless from Longbridge CMHT. But they are not been great. Just section you and give you medicines. I have been on a waiting list for therapy for 7 years. Just not very good.

August 16, 2023
3rd baby and miscarried previously so worried about this pregnancy. During last pregnancy they didn’t educate me, just told me the baby had a lot of water in the tommy and they didn’t speak to me about it properly. Could do with more help and information.

Felt rushed and they slipped up

August 7, 2023
My waters broke 4 days before my son was born and I had strep. The day my son was discharged, we ended up in A&E as he had sepsis. I feel like they rush it all and slipped up really.
