My husband missed our scan because of parking

December 4, 2023
I have come for a scan and was seen on time but my husband didn't make the scan as he could not get any parking. I'm quite upset that he has missed it and now I am waiting for a doctor and not sure why.

Well informed and good waiting times.

Good. The staff are good. I feel that I am well informed with everything. Communication could be better as I don't know what they are for and come through via letter and not on the badger app. Waiting times are good.

It's been good. I have been for a scan. I was seen on time and I have been seen by a doctor and now I am waiting for a blood test. The waiting times are okay and communication is good. The staff are very polite.

The waiting times have reduced

December 4, 2023
It's been good. It's normally good. You can wait sometimes but I have found they have reduced the waiting times. There is good information about appointments through text and the badger app. Good communication from staff. They could improve waiting times more though. They have been reduced but could improve more. Some of the departments can be a bit disjointed and you turn up to appointments they don't know about.

The midwife in the Antenatal clinic was really helpful at sorting out my issue. I appreciated the midwife who gave me all the information and sorted out my diabetes strips for me.

They give me a translator

December 4, 2023
It is good. I understand everything. When I need to see a doctor they give me a translator. It is a long wait to see the doctor. Staff are good and they help me.

I went there with my wife. She was seen on time and after a month a follow up appointment came through the post. Very good. No hassle or fuss at all.

Did not feel listened to or understood.

I had my daughter there and I wasn't offered an epidural until later on. I feel there is a narrative that black women are strong and I did not feel listened to or that they understand.
