My experience at the hospital was very good. All the staff was very kind and helpful.
Discharged with zero info from consultant

After operation, waited for consultant to provide me with:
▪︎ information of what had been found
▪︎ an action plan
▪︎ sign posting
▪︎ advice & guidance
Nothing.
Ward staff could not help as there was nothing written up in notes. I sat waiting, it was just a waste of my time., consultant did not visit ward.
Eventually got a discharge letter that told me what I already know: my name, address & DOB.
▪︎ Instruction to GP - blank
▪︎ Information Given to Patient - blank.
Visitors should now be allowed, they are vital support for patients, being their advocates & witnesses.
