City Hospital

Took a long time but they did help my daughter, it’s just the waiting around.

I have liver issues and used to go once a year, last time I went was last year and they were good. I'm always in and out of hospital. They scan my liver when I'm there but my mom deals with most of it.

I go for regular appointments here for my liver. They are good the staff are, nurses are nice too.

I had an MRI and some blood tests done here. The hospital is so good. We have no issues with them.

Couldn’t fault the staff. Staff have been fantastic in ENT department. When calling the department I was by mistake transferred to cardiology department but the staff over there transferred me back to ENT. The person over there went the extra mile and helped as I don’t think the GP had actually sent the referral.

The nurses and doctors are good and kind, but the environment was a nuisance when I stayed there for 4 weeks. There were quite a few patients who were severely ill and treated badly, I felt they didn't get the help they needed. I felt well enough to go home but they wouldn't allow me to leave. The food wasn't good and I ended up discharging myself. I didn't get the help I needed.

Endocrine, really nice. I am very pleased with the services. Follow up on phone, check up on medication. Good that can be on the phone so I don’t have to travel all that way.

Ended up having a hysterectomy due to cancer. The hospital were excellent. Kept me informed. Spoke through the procedure told me what would happen step by step, kept me comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for better care.

Ended up in intensive care at City hospital and they referred me to Sandwell because of conditions and no longer had space. Was there for week, good care only in intensive care. TV do keep mind occupied. Then again transferred to Heartlands.

Had issues with my back with severe pain, given morphine to kill the pain in ward 7, but didn’t feel nurses treated me that well. Nurses threatened to put me in the white room psychiatric ward. Was not getting good portions / quality of food. It brought me to tears I didn’t feel safe, there was someone guarding someone in the bed next to me.
