Told me take paracetamol for possible sepsis

I had symptoms of sepsis and they told me to take paracetamol over the bank holiday and they said on the Friday they hoped I could get in with a GP on the following Tuesday. I told them I wasn't happy with this and I wanted to be sent to the Badger clinic.

They never called me back

They told me that they would call back in 12 hours and they never called back so I gave up. It took 3 days with my other daughter and she ended up in hospital with an overnight stay.

Quick to answer and give good advice.

I rang for my little one and they were quick to answer and give advice. They are also good at getting back to you when you use the online form. They are always good at letting me know the best plan of action.

Helpful after GP refused urgent appointment

I needed an urgent appointment with my GP in Tamworth and the receptionist told me that my uterine cancer symptoms weren't urgent enough and that I should call NHS 111 and refused to make me an appointment with the GP for the next day. 111 were very helpful on this occasion.

I don't think they understand via phone.

I've used them. I don't think they really understand when they're over the phone. They can give information but whether it's good is a different story.

The service is very good.

It was good, a good service. When they make a mistake, it's a long wait to get through. They do a reassurance call every 2 hours which is a really nice touch. The service was good and they prescribed the medication that no pharmacy had. They called back and they prescribed something else, but a days dose.

Couldn't arrange an appointment.

I wanted to see someone after I burnt my foot badly. I waited to see a nurse as they couldn't get through to my GP. They told me they couldn't arrange that so I ended up dressing it myself and I kept trying my GP.

A smooth process. It didn't take long to get through and they directed me onto the Badger clinic. It's always been very good.

Helpful and give good advice

They have been quite good to me in the past. They've been helpful and given me good advice. I got through straight away and told me to go to A&E or try and stay at home and get better where possible.

Tell you to go to the hospital or GP.

They are okay. They will tell you to go to the hospital or get an appointment with the GP depending on what the issue is. Just hard when you want to see someone.
