Good but questions made me worry

I did call them for my father in law and they sent him to hospital. They were good but they did ask lots of questions that did make me worry.

I mean they've always been helpful for me. Whenever call they answer quickly and help me with what I need or the Kids need and get us sorted. All very good as far as I'm concerned.

They don't know my medical history

They are supposed to refer you onto an appropriate service which they do but it's not good when you go to say Katie Road and they don't know your medical background. I would rather them find an appointment with my GP but that doesn't happen. I don't believe it's their fault.

They sent an ambulance

I called them as I was trying to get them to get me a doctors appointment but they just sent an ambulance as they said I needed it.

Helpful once I'm through to them

I have called them for advice for my children as usually when I call my doctor to help it takes too long. They take a long time to answer and a few hours for a call back but they are helpful when I do get through to them.

The wife came out in a rash so I called 111 as I couldn't get in with the GP. They told us to go to a walk in at Alum Rock. They made an appointment quickly. They answered quickly and referred us on.

Took them 3 days to call back. Useless

I had a fall and ended up damaging and cutting my knees. They wouldn't stop bleeding. They said someone would call me back. It took them 3 days to call back and they sent out district nurses. Absolutely useless.

I waited a long time to get through

I waited a long time to get through to them when I hurt my back. They asked me lots of questions and said they would send an ambulance.

I got referred to a walk in

I booked an appointment for a walk in through 111 service. They were good but trying to get a GP appointment isn't good. Almost like there weren't enough appointments available.

I was misdiagnosed.

The GP told me to call them after I hurt my leg. They called me back and asked me a few questions and said it wasn't an emergency and to rest my leg for a few days. I ended up going to A&E a few days later and they told me I had a hairline fracture.
