The surgeon did an excellent job and in a timely manner when I went for hip and knee replacement surgery.

They have been brilliant.

I saw one of the doctors. I was referred on quite quickly and had injections in my knee, only once, for aspirated fluid then I had problems with my knee. They're wanting to give me other options as to what to do about my knee going forward. But they've been brilliant.

Pleasant and helpful staff.

Surgeon arranged for steroid injections in my feet. I have to go through the GP to arrange injections. Staff are pleasant and helpful.
Ultrasound deliver injections which management have said it's the diagnostic clinic, which means they can't continue with people like me who have been coming for years. Have not discussed it so don't know. They said they'll let me know where I have to go in the future.

Good but takes too long.

Transport team came and collected me 3 hours early and I now have to wait to be collected. They are good but just takes too long.

Really good hospital. Staff are friendly and they inform me of all the developments in my condition. Had two operations on both hips. Stayed as an inpatient and hospital is clean and great food. Nothing is too much trouble.

Computer check in is Fiddly.

November last year referred from GP in Solihull and I think that was GP not the hospital. First appointment today. Computer check in screens are slightly delayed. Fiddly when touching the buttons and easy to get around the hospital. Signage for car park could do with being 100 yards before the entrance.

Scans and results the same day. Very pleased.

I have been a patient here for 2 years and communication is very good. They send emails and letters. Have scans and results the same day. I'm pleased with that, so saves us having to make another journey. Staff are all very nice. Appointments are okay. It's a wait in between appointments but I am fine with it. It sorts itself out.

9 month wait with no communication

Referred on from Russell's hall to Royal Orthopaedic and waited 9 months for the appointment today. They sent an email for the appointment last week. No communication in that time about appointment. The hospital has been alright so far.

Good communication. Parking is poor

Parking is really inconvenient. People struggle with parking arrangements. Not useful having to wait 1 hour 1/4 beyond first appointment which has made me late for second appointment. Receptionists have insured me that I will still be seen. Very good communication about appointments. Would prefer paper copies and good at reminding me of upcoming appointments.
