Three years ago I had an operation for a knee replacement after a referral from my GP. Due to covid, I have had to wait a long time but the consultant has been excellent and the outpatient service has been great.

My wife suffered from back pain and had spinal surgery in January 2021. She had a screw fixed to her spine and has since suffered a disc prolapse three months after the surgery and is still having a lot of pain. We are not happy with the level of service and the contact with the hospital in regards to appointments, has not been a good experience.

The hospital has been easy to access and the check in process was easy.

Parking is a bit of an issue. I didn't get sent a letter for my appointment as they send it all over text message. I was referred from GP last year for the appointment today.

We've checked in for an operation tomorrow. We've travelled down from Wales. We've received great communication up to his point and found it great.

Came for a consultation with the surgeon today. Had a spine operation back in February due to my mobility and ended up getting an infection, though the risk of infection was explained to me prior to the operation. I was given medication for the infection. Overall, I've had a good experience, I'd give it 10/10.

It's the second time I'm here for my foot. They have done surgery on my foot. I was waiting for a letter since last year and then I called them to receive a letter and an appointment and they made an appointment for 2 days later.

My husband has had a knee and hip replacement and is currently finding the hydrotherapy staff very understanding and helpful, and it’s making a difference. We have been particularly impressed with the amount of time and effort that the consultant has been prepared to give to my husband following his knee replacement although the problems relate to a fall affecting his hip. He has gone far beyond attention he needed to give. He is a star.

ROH is very good with interpreter and always provide one.

Brilliant hospital. Staff are lovely, if they were all like that, it's be a good NHS. Been there so many times as a patient. They just take good care of you.
