Apart from the parking the rest is all good. It is expensive parking and quite far from the hospital. The staff are amazing.

Long waits for bloods

Excellent facilities but always have to wait for a long time for bloods. We have been waiting for our turn for bloods for one hour.

They did a hearing assessment in August, the results were given to us quite quickly. They said her ears would need unclogging but waiting for an appointment from the GP. They were good and saw my daughter quickly.
No support for children waiting with SEND
February 27, 2024
When children with autism go to A&E they can't sit still for hours waiting for appointments. Even when you explain to that the child has SEND needs they simply do not support us. This is across all of Birmingham hospitals. Maybe they could have a tag that says ADHD or Autism in order to provide support for children in A&E or waiting for appointments at the GP.
