Not patient centred The doctor is stuck up. I have sent email to the nurses regarding my conditions getting worse, no response from them. I am here at 1:37 am awake due to so much pain I can’t sleep. Every night it’s same.

Appointment had to be cancelled.

September 2, 2024
This appointment was for my sister to have a bone marrow test. She has Downs and left sided weakness following a stroke. She is also wheelchair bound. Despite being told twice that a hoist was needed the ACP doing the procedure had not been told that, so one was not available and the appointment had to be cancelled.

Discharge team were incompetent.

Wards 19 and 20b
August 27, 2024
The Discharge Letter provided by Ward 20A Solihull Hospital to the nursing home my 99 year old mother was transferred to, only detailed the Buprenorphine 7 day patch she had with no mention of the other pain medications she was receiving during the 24 days in Heartlands and Solihull hospitals and indeed prior to the fall as prescribed by her GP. The patch had been removed but at least on arrival at the Nursing home it could be reapplied. However the oral Morphine and codeine she had received for the previous 24 days were not mentioned whatsoever. Hence the nursing home were unaware of the level of pain medication my mother had been receiving. Prior to being admitted to hospital my mother received both the Buprenorphine 7 day patch and 2-3 doses of Codeine prescribed by her GP for at least the last 18 months.
The pain my mother suffered during the transfer without any pain meds and for the rest of the night and most of the next day was appalling and down to the incompetence of Solihull hospital Ward 20A Discharge Team.

Volunteers here are annoying.

First time we came it was running late, the next time it ran on time. The volunteers are annoying and grabbed me by the arm. They don't let you find your way.
