Whilst we are pleased to hear that you value our clinical input, we are sorry to hear of your disappointment over a lack of a home visiting service for non-housebound patients.
Due to the unprecedented high demand on our services, the Surgery has been required to implement policies that will not only ensure fairness to our entire patient list, but to also protect the capacity and resilience of our service, thus allowing us to treat our patients in a safe and consistent manner.

Thank you for leaving your feedback. As previously stated within our feedback responses on this page, the Surgery only has a limited capacity of appointments of which we must triage and signpost effectively based on the presenting symptom(s).
For routine queries of a non-urgent nature, appointment wait times can vary, with the Surgery aiming for these waiting times to be under 2 weeks.

For matters for more urgent attention, the Surgery's administrative team try their best to book a patient as soon as possible. For those patients with compromised immune systems, such as those undergoing treatments for cancer, they would fall into this category.

As a highly busy Surgery, we understand that obtaining an appointment can be difficult however we would like to assure you that the Surgery management team are consistently reviewing our operations and taking actions to improve our efficiency and increase clinical capacity. For the month of December 2024, the Surgery offered 5010 clinical appointments- this is just under 0.5 per patient, with us still looking at improving upon this figure further.

We are sorry that you have had experienced delays when attending appointments- due to the high variety and increasing severity of clinical presentations at the Surgery, appointments may sometimes be delayed in the cases of medical emergencies.
We are truly sorry when patients experience delays however we hope that you can understand the obligations we have towards patients in urgent medical situations and their care needs when visiting the Surgery.
