Due to the unprecedented demands on healthcare services, the Surgery's clinicians often find themselves in situations not suitable for a GP setting. Due to our duty of care, we are required to provide treatment to these patients in emergency situations, which may result in an extended wait time.

Thank you for leaving your feedback on HealthWatch and expressing your gratitude towards our Enhanced Access clinics. Not only do we open 9:00-17:00 Saturday and 8:00-12:00 Sunday, we also open later in the week from 18:00-20:00 to allow more of an opportunity for our patients to gain an appointment.

We are sorry to hear of your difficulties in trying to obtain an appointment.
Due to the current needs of our local community, the Surgery has been required to alter the allocation of our urgent, realised on the day appointments to our routine appointments. This allows for more urgent capacity on the day however, extended wait times for routine appointments may be experienced.
The Surgery are exploring multiple options in order to increase our Urgent capacity, with our goal being to reduce the wait times for routine appointments as a result.

We are sorry to hear of your unsatisfactory experiences with the Surgery. The management team are consistently working hard to increase the Surgery's capacity and amount of appointments for our patients.
We have recently increased the size of our administrative team in order to reduce the wait times for incoming calls. We hope that this, along with offering approximately 5500 appointments per month will enable our patients to gain a GP appointment easier.
