My son had his procedure here and it was good. The appointments have all been good. The Children's finally diagnosed with diverticular disease when I was told by the GP there wasn't anything wrong with him. I should have just took him straight here.
Appointments don't run on time.

Appointments aren't on time and the satnav getting here leads you to the ambulance drop off so I had to walk around to get here.

They refused to see us the last week we were in the hospital. We were on the ward 5 hours before a doctor came to us. We pressed the emergency buzzer and it took them 15 minutes to come, in an emergency. He was in there for 3 days before discharge.
Everything was good on ward 5

Ward 5 is brilliant. There for nearly 8 weeks and they did everything for him. The nurses were good. All was good.

Paediatrics/children services

My son was sent to surgical ward for surgery but he didn't need it. The doctors come in and do whatever they want without communicating with each other.
Some staff are brilliant
Outpatients

They can be brilliant depending on what staff you get. They explain everything. Some aren't like that. The appointments don't run on time and the play specialist they say will be there, but never is and my daughter is on the spectrum, that is unhelpful. The care has been great however.
Referred us to City hospital

I went to A&E for my son's ear infection, they referred us to City hospital for further tests.
