Was due to have elective c section but ended up having an emergency c section, all the staff were amazing and made me feel really calm and comfortable! They really made sure I was looked after and my midwife Lucy M was brilliant!!! Really made my birth experience positive after the initial shock. :)

most Doctors care about their patients and try to find out what is wrong although they go round in circles sometimes and need to look at their scans in more detail as not everything is always text book cases and sometimes one thing causes other complications and this should be considered in when trying to make a diagnosis. Less emphasis should be put on standard blood tests and more attention paid to symptoms

Father was admitted with acute sepsis, fantastic service from Ambulance Paramedics to staff in A &E. AMU ward professional and caring. Special mention to young Drs in A&E and AMU. Keep up the good work City and let's keep the NHS Public.

I can't find fault with the care I received from admission to ward D6 where the staff were very efficient and professional, to my recovery after my hysterectomy, on ward D 27, where the care was a credit to our NHS.

The worst and the most disorganised shambles

December 25, 2014
No communication between staff and patient and where their was conflicting information given. "You can go home today" from doctor and then " you will be in for a few more days" from the nurse all within a hour
I overheard the nurse say to a doctor " You are all the same you keep sending all these home and they are back within days"....Waited from. 11.00 a.m until 7.45 p.m for tablets to go home with and the nurses in the Lyndon Ward 5 need to go on either a course in communication and honesty or a course in not passing the buck

Awful Experience - 2 years on-still no better

December 23, 2014
I found Dr to fall well below the standard I expect from the NHS. He did not listen to any of my concerns about my child's illness. He carried out a physical examination during the consultation, he did not explain what he was doing or more importantly if everything was normal.

He promptly referred us back to our GP, only for out GP to refer us back. I have asked my GP to refer us to another consultant.

Ok, satisfactory. Fresh blood on the floor, bit disconcerting.
