Got appointment very quickly with nurse for shingles jab, Very helpful.

Would like to see doctor face to face . Struggling to get an appointment. I have been phoning since last 3 days morning and afternoon. This can still be a telephone appointment.

It is nearly impossible to get an appointment. Elderly people are made to wait in the wind and rain whilst no one sits inside. I had to have a heart monitor reading done 4 times due to the surgery losing my readings. I also had a physical condition misdiagnosed as the GP refused to listen to me fully. It is unbelievably hard to get through by phone and the receptionists are very very rude.

Long wait times to get through to receptionists Receptionists asking what you need an appointment for - this should be private and confidential between patient and GP and receptionists should not be evaluating urgency or importance. Hard to get a telephone triage phone call back as they ‘run out’ very quickly leaving no alternative for that day. Cannot see a doctor only get a telephone call. Telephone calls not appropriate in all cases. Son hurt ankle and was sent to a and e even though it was not an emergency. Care during my pregnancy and after birth was non existent and relied upon me to make appointments eg for flu jab during pregnancy (they never got back to me luckily a midwife got it done for me whilst I attended another appt) post natal checks didn’t happen, waited months for post pregnancy contraceptive coil fitting. Vaccinations for baby were good, all on time. I moved surgeries as a result.

Terrible reception staff very uncaring.

Can not get appointments.

It takes quite often 45 minutes to get through to reception then if you are lucky you may get a telephone conversation with a doctor in about 3 or 4 weeks time.

Very difficult to get through on phone and then told no appointments available. If you do finally get through on phone they have been very good and did do face to face when necessary.

I always find all the staff, nurses and doctors to be polite and helpful.
