Everything quicker, more caring
June 13, 2023
It's fine. I prefer the hospital to my local one. Everything is quicker here. I've not had to wait long for the appointment, it come through quite quickly. They are more caring and they care for the children, better than they do in Wolverhampton.
Really good with her since birth
June 12, 2023
They're really good with her. Appointments have been sent to us through the post and we've had text message reminders. It's all been professional, I can't complain about anything really. They've been good from when she was born.
It's alright, it's just routine now.

Been alright here, I've been coming since I was 3 and I come yearly. I understand what they staff are saying, it's just routine now. I was referred over from Rugby when I was 3 as I needed surgery.
Doctor was brilliant

We went for an appointment in the main hospital during strikes and the doctor we saw was brilliant. The hospital was quiet. We've come for a follow up appointment today.
Really good, positive interactions
June 12, 2023
It's fine, it's really good. They send out letters about the appointments. We've had positive interactions with staff, it's all been very good. My son has been here since birth and now comes every 6 months for appointments.
First face to face appointment since covid
June 12, 2023
We've come to a follow up appointment today. We used to have all the appointments over the phone and today is the first face to face appointment since covid. It's a very good hospital and we're happy with the service.
Waiting 7 months for appointment
June 12, 2023
Its our first visit today and it's been okay. We haven't seen anybody yet but we haven't been waiting too long. We've been waiting over 7 months for the appointment from the GP practice. The digestive department sent me a letter and a text for the appointments today.
Had to chase up appointment after strikes
June 12, 2023
It's been fine, just walked in and now I'm waiting. Our first appointment was cancelled due to the strikes, but then I never heard anything. I chased up the appointment but I had no direct number to call so I ended up making various calls to the switch board trying various different departments. However, when we did get through, they made an appointment for the month later.
Good communication after losing letter

First visit today and everything has been good. I got a text last week about the appointment which was good. I lost the letter and called them, they were good at letting me know all the details of the appointment and what not.
Really good, saw quickly. Good follow up.

We're here seeing neurosurgery today, they're really good. We were in A&E 3 weeks ago and they were really good. We got seen really quickly. We were given a timeslot from NHS 111 and waited 20 minutes before moving from reception to a bed and seeing various Doctors and Specialists. We say a neurosurgeon who then arranged this appointment for today. Not a complaint but, it would be better to have a letter sent out so we had something to go by. The last doctor we saw in A&E said she'd ring us in the morning with a follow up appointment, and she did.
