Always been dead happy

They are brilliant, very helpful. Can contact them if we need them. Receive information on appointments in a timely manner. Interactions with staff really good. Always been dead happy.

Today’s the first day, I spoke to the receptionist. it’s good, it’s normal.

So far fine, spend most of my time with fetal medicine. I don’t currently have a local midwife, but they sent someone from their team to have a chat with me and they were outstanding.
Blood tests not showing on the app

Go on app to see previous blood tests done at the doctors and they’re not on the app. So then you have to get in contact with them to get the results so that the hospital can get the right treatment/medication. It’s a little interruption in the treatment.
Long waits of 2-3 hours

You wait a long time in the antenatal clinic, you come for an appointment time and you should be attended to but you can wait 2-3 hours. They forgot to send me a reminder to come to the hospital , I had to keep calling them and there was no one to speak to. The midwives and doctors are awesome, very kind and polite.
Friendly Staff

Friendly staff at the welcome desk. Finding way around for both staff and visitors, they have clear signs and a map to show each area. Sometimes there's long waits and they do not update you to when you will be seen.

It's okay, had a scan, everything's fine. Explained things whilst they were doing it. First time today I'm not waiting a long time.

This is a very good service, I've been in this hospital from the pregnancy of my first child which was in 2014, very supportive, helpful, respectful and kind, all the staff at Birmingham Women's Hospital.

More than an hour waiting and they had forgotten about me. They said there was an error in the appointment and that I am not on the list.
