South Birmingham Urgent Treatment Centre - Selly Oak Katie Road

Very slow service, no online support in the 21st century.

I had a letter which suggested that my son should be taken to a walking centre on arrival I went on a intercom & explained what had happened they seem he'll bent of I was trying to jump the queue then I had someone come out to me & basically say they nhs service was wrong for sending me there on asking if I was been told wrong information it was no we went round and round I try find out what I could do so in the end I said I'll leave I said I was very on happy for the way I was treated & walk away something was said to & I replied from a distance which would mean I would have to rised voice then I was told I was shouting at this person 2/3 feet I get it voiced is raised but well over 20 feet plus no way if i spoke I would not have been heard anyway I left I made the call which was suggested & listen to the answer message got to the end & phone the number again but got the same answer machine message hence could receive the help I came for they mentioned that appointment was needed on there answer machine message it said different

Due to my daughter's condition- Ulcerative Colitis- we use this service when her symptoms mean she cannot be seen by a GP but do not want to take up AE time. This service provides invaluable care for a whole range of problems. Having sat in the waiting room many times you see many cases being dealt with that would have created pressure on AE, but were dealt with efficiently and kindly at the clinic. My worry is the hours have been cut, this is a vital service that needs more investment and promotion. I would also like to forward recognition to the brilliant staff, especially reception at Katie Road.

Ridiculous, they answered after 50 mins, said hello, I said hello back and they hung up.

Amazing service, response times are amazing. The GPS are knowledgeable and so helpful. How all doctors should.work.

Dr was very polite, ,reassuring and attentive . I visited him after both my husband and I experienced a fall caused by an uneven paving stone and I hurt my sternum .

The lady that seen me was so lovely and kind and helped with reassuring me and giving me the right advice.

Waited 5 hours after speaking to various clinicians to be told my infected burn will have to wait till the morning due to the service being closed 20 minutes ago! Then to be told wait till the morning and do not attend A&E for a minor injury even though my symptoms have progressed significantly during the day unlike my patience!

Suffering minor problem, called and after quick chat with call handler, was called back by Dr, who arranged video consultation, all in under 15 minutes.
