They change every time

March 19, 2025
Every time they merge they change. The online consultations can be good for common childhood things. You can't do prescriptions online either.

A good GP

March 19, 2025
My husband went there a couple of years ago when he had a problem with his hip. The GP was good and referred him which didn't take long.

An excellent GP

I called them at 9AM and they said I would need to go straight to the hospital. An excellent GP.

My concerns were completely dismissed

February 6, 2025
I met with one of the doctors - I am 20 and have previously miscarried to which she was the doctor who told me. The doctor at the time had told me that ‘maybe it wasn’t my time’ I know I could have reported this back in 2022 but let it go over my head.
Today I went into the surgery as I have been having extreme pain on my left side and since my miscarriage get extremely anxious. I am 20. I know myself this pain wasn’t ‘made up’ but the doctor told me today that she believes I don’t have this physical pain and that she thinks it is all in my head. The surgery overall is nothing like it was , doctors like this dismiss you constantly. She didn’t check me over and I felt like a child being told off. P.S. the receptionist - one of them has the worst attitude I’ve ever came across.

Rude, unhelpful Receptionists

January 7, 2025
Since the surgeries have merged the personal feel has certainly gone.
Most of the Dr's are good, but sadly the reception staff let them down badly.
The new triage system is difficult to use at times and the receptionists do not want to help you, they tell you you have to do it through the app even if you're elderly and cannot use it. The last 3 receptionists I have spoken to have been rude, disinterested and extremely unhelpful.
The industry they are in is to care for people, sadly this is far from the case and perhaps the management need to listen to some of the telephone calls to realise how they are speaking to ill Patients in need of help.
What used to be a nice surgery where you felt safe is turning into dread of needing to contact them

They involve me in my care

December 3, 2024
They're okay you know, when I go there, they're okay. They listen to me good and I know they are listening to me as they ask me what they can do to help and offer me options. They involve me in my care.

A good triage system

November 4, 2024
They have a new triage system which is good. It makes it a bit more complicated but once you know how it works the doctors are fantastic. They listen to me.

I am very satisfied by the support and help provided by the GPs and nurses but the reception staff are very rude and unhelpful.
