Hard to get through on the phone.

Call them early at 8am, the lines are busy, end up calling them 30-40 times. Get through and they say they'll phone back, then when they do all the appointments are gone and tell you to go to a walk in centre. The receptionist and doctors are good.

Pandemic turning services upside down

Well, there is nothing to complain about, just the pandemic letting everything get upside down. With the easing of the restrictions, hopefully the GP's will improve the delay.

Nobody cares or monitors me

I managed to speak to the doctor not long ago but I feel like nobody cares about me, or nobody monitors me even though I am on blood thinners.

Calling this surgery should be used as a tortue technique in Guntanamo Bay! I waited 2 hours to be told "no appointment today" come on! The telephone system is worse than anything you can imagine. No number, no please hold message, just mind numbing musical sounds!

Unable to have a consultation for weeks

Unable to have a consultation for weeks as you can never get through via phone a new econsult has been available but hours shortened cannot always access and generalised multiple choice questions if your symptoms are not included cannot go further with request. Gp’s are inconsistent with consultant advice and totally contradict it with their own opinions I.e if a consult has advised use of a certain medication to control a condition they are not repeat prescribing as they feel it is not appropriate this leaves patients very confused. Staff who eventually answer phones are not very knowledgable on processes and are very much like robots. My issue was not severe however I would imagine many patients would of received a worse service. I have knowledge of the system so did manage to get a consultation.
