Receptionist give miss information

July 25, 2019
The receptionist don't pass on the messages to GP and they contradict what they say to the patients. We only call the surgery if we are suffering but don't get the service we require. We need to be adamant and explain the reason for the call to the reception before getting an appointment. Where is the confidence in that. They don't want to take complaints over the phone and expect to us write in. I always thought that you can complain via phone, face to face or in writing. When asked where it states in there leaflet that we cannot complain on the phone they have no answer. Also there is no seniors available in the evening to complain too, so we have to wait until the next day to call again and wait in the queue.

Worst surgery to be a patient at

May 16, 2019
Phones are always busy, no appointments available majority of the time unless you try and book online if any appointments are available or try and speak to the receptionist at the surgery who is able to pre book a call back. Receptionists provide you with incorrect information and when book asthma assessments tend to book it with the wrong professional, which can be very frustrating as you have to take time of work and rebook the appointment. Over 9 weeks pregnant and still not been referred to a midwife despite having tried for the past 2 weeks by speaking to 2 different GPs on the phone and visited a doctor in the surgery who wasn't a gp of Laurie Pike which as a patient I wouldn't have known while booking but still he was unable to refer me. The GP I spoke to on the phone the other day was meant to give me a call back the next day which I never received and a secretary was suppose to give me a call back also regarding my midwife appointment which never happened either. I've had a very bad experience with this surgery and feel very stressed out and worried as I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to have an appointment with a midwife and feel very upset. Stress and worries for a pregnant woman are the last things she needs but duty of care doesn't seem to apply to this surgery!!

No interpretating support

December 18, 2018
They don’t give the right support and they are not serious about my health issues, as I have had one of my kidney's removed and I am having a pain on my stomach and legs but they did not provide right treatment for that.

Communication of letters far too slow

July 13, 2017
Communication between letters received from hospital outpatient and speed of action into prescription system far too slow. My Dad was seen 2 months ago at the hospital and had to have medication changes. To date he has still not received the new medication. He is due for a review in the clinic soon to assess how he got on. I have spoken to the practice numerous ties to no avail. I am aware the letters have been received, but for some reason not put on the system to update the pharmacy. I am waiting on a phone call from the Practice Manager to discuss the matter further.

March 20, 2017
Have been trying for three days to get a call back, when you do eventually get through all call back appointments have gone. Receptionist was rude and unhelpful when I explained the situation with regards to work and trying to get through and lack of appointments!!! Shocking service they do not even deserve one star!!!

Depends on the Dr you speak to

September 30, 2016
The Dr you speak to will depend on how quickly you are seen and how useful they are. When seen the follow up services are too slow to return results for things like x-rays and scans

Good when you met the Doctors eventually

March 5, 2015
The Doctors listen to the patients but there is delay in getting an appointment. You are not able to walk in and make an appointment. You make long calls before you can get an appointment
