Good mental health support from GP

I have been receiving support for depression from this General Practice for the last 15 years. Riverbrook Medical Centre have been really fantastic, both for the care of my late husband, and for my own mental health. My GP also helped by referring me to Gateway Family Services, who have been wonderful too.

Many thanks for your reply, I'm very sorry you have found it difficult to get an appointment. You may not be aware that we have pre-bookable appointments up to 4 weeks in advance, book on day appointments, online bookable appointments, Saturday appointments bookable from 4pm Friday, Sunday appointments pre bookable anytime. We offer telephone call backs and the facility to book into another surgery as part of the SDS My Healthcare challenge fund hub scheme. Please contact the surgery for further details.

Good when you get to see them

Phoning for an appointment can be a problem as by the time you get through the appointment sometimes have gone
The Drs in the practice are good when you get to see them.

Many thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately telephone lines are very busy in a morning but we have tried to relieve this by now providing online booking facility via our my healthcare app. You can also ring after 4pm on Fridays to book for a Saturday or Sunday appointment. Hope this information is helpful.
