They made everything go quick, now it's okay. They treated me well. The doctor was cool. They explained everything to me and even got an interpreter too. They book in regular 6 month check up's with me too.

They are really good. Every time I visit, they treat me with the specifics and I am given the treatment I need.
They upset me
July 20, 2022
I was calling the nurses to give me tea and they ignored me. They upset me, then my sister came and gave me a drink. The staff did not pay attention to me. I believe they have a lot on their plate.
They inform us about whats going on

My daughter has been coming here for many years to visit the epilepsy nurse. They monitor my daughter and speak through what is going on with my daughters condition.
They were fantastic

I underwent surgery here for my breast cancer. They were fantastic, but I think they need to work more joint up with the other hospital I was under for treatment.
Brilliant with my son
July 11, 2022
My son sees the Nutritionist and Dermatologist here and since they took over my sons care, I have been very happy with the service. They are brilliant. It did take a long time to be referred to them and my sons condition did get worse with the wait but I am overall happy with the service.
Most nurses are welcoming some unprofessional
July 1, 2022
Every month I attend the SCaT Centre at City Hospital and whilst most of the nurses are welcoming and communicate well, I find some of them to be unprofessional and lacking in empathy and understanding . It's almost like they are operating in robot mode.

I am still waiting for an appointment for my blood treatment for my Sickle Cell.
I need better access to health
June 29, 2022
I have been to this hospital many times but one time when I showed up to an appointment they told me I was meant to attend St James healthcare centre instead of the hospital. I need better access to health.
I've been put off visiting this hospital
June 29, 2022
My GP sent me to City Hospital for an MRI scan as I had been experiencing headaches which they thought could have been Meningitis, but when I got there, I coughed once and the Nurse said I had Covid where I was then transferred to a covid ward for more than 4 hours, even though it was not confirmed I had Covid. It has really put me off visiting this hospital again.
