Great care by the staff on the unit but awful phone lines when trying to obtain information

Lack of continuity of care lead to a confused approach both by medics and nurses. This meant the admission was inappropriately long and unsatisfactory.

Was seen promptly after I attended A&E where I was quickly X-rayed and diagnosed with a fractured shoulder. Staff were absolutely brilliant - making sure I was as comfortable as possible and patiently explaining the process for transferring me to Sandwell Hospital.

Went to A&E was on the floor in pain no consideration shown by staff. Not helpful at all.
