Generally the service at this surgery is excellent however given that the country has now commenced lifting restrictions I can't understand why it is still only possible to have triage appointments before face to face appointment is allowed This applies to all GP practices

Very good, responsive service. Would sometimes like to see a Dr, rather than filling in forms.

I have been with this surgery for over 40 years. It has excellent doctors, nurses and receptionists. My care has always been of the highest standard.

Have used them since 1975 when we came to Birmingham when my husband finished his time in the Royal Navy. I have had my second child through their GP service and also several operations like knee replacement, with excellent after care.

Admin is poor
February 5, 2021
The doctors and nurses are good, I think, but the admin is poor. On the website recently the latest news post was 2018....the annual Saturday flu injection session does not appear on there so you have to waste their time and yours ringing up. At the moment it says, quite rightly, don't come if you might have Covid, but no instructions or advice on seeing a doctor or what to expect. If you ring, the receptionists seem to regard that as a nuisance. Recently I took in a requested sample for a friend, and the 'senior receptionist' was actually rude. I am sure their job is not easy (reception never is) but one of the things you are paid for is to be polite and pleasant. I do think both these things let down what is otherwise a good practice in my experience.
