Very efficient and organised

I was visiting a friend on a ward. I felt sorry for the staff running around like headless chickens. They have no time for patients. I can see another Stafford hospital happen here.

Father went in with leukemia. There was no after care support provided. No family support provided. I wasn't aware of my rights and patient was not able to access own records to find out what was wrong. This was not explained by consultant.

Carrier of MRSA. Feel shut away and isolated. Need to explain services and procedures.

I was with my partner visiting a friend. Whilst standing in the main reception area. I noticed a doctor with someones written medical notes. If I had looked closely you could see the information.

Critical Care Unit - It was a good experience

Infection to thumb, service was fantastic, was expecting a long wait but seen after 15 mins and a swift response and was in theatre for 45 mins, stayed in 2 nights, keep up the good work

I was visiting the QEH with my wife. We stopped at costa coffee and were a bit alarmed to see a member of staff using a laptop to acess what looked like patient data in a public area! We then went back to the car park by the old qeh. We were crossing the road and witnessed another member of stafd wheeling a trolley with an open box on top of it with patient notes blowing of all over the pavement. This was very alarming to see such lax attitides and treatment of patient records! Not what you expect from a centre of excellence.

A lot of helpers available at QE. Excellent customer service and no complaints, visit there frequently. Pre-op assessment is fantastic, understand what trteatment I receive.

Within six weeks of the diagnosis with a melanoma on my nose I was operated on.
