Lost in the system, new referral made

They've been organised on this occasion. They lost me in the system for three years, so I had to go back to my GP for another referral and the hospital literally called me back within the hour and the apologised. It took a long while to be referred for an appointment. I saw my consultant who had to make a referral for an ultrasound which took a long time but my consultant is brilliant. I came for an appointment by taxi which cost's an arm and a leg and when I got here, they said I couldn't have the treatment because of being on antibiotics and that I had to reschedule, and they done that for today. I'm hoping my appointment will arrive in 3 months. 2 consultants here are brilliant and are on the phone if I need them.

Not easy to get around

Not easy to find or navigate around. I usually go to Heartlands or Solihull. Not sure if they can do anything as I think its age related.

Treated with upmost courtesy

Always excellent, information is good. Check in is good. Always on hand to help if you need it. I'm here for a post operative appointment and come every 3-5 years. I can't complain. Never had a problem, treated with the upmost courtesy. I see one of the team and not my consultant and they will take blood and I have an x-ray. They appointment 2 years in advance and they sent a reminder text and letter in November.

Find them really good

Find them really good. Always see them on time. Been coming here off and on for the past couple of years. Always on time, staff are always helpful and friendly. Can’t fault them.

The process is delayed

The process is delayed and the appointment is slow. The staff were nice. The doctors are not doing what I asked them to do. I was in discomfort and doctors were not listening to me.

Doctor didn’t show up

I had a knee replacement and when I was in a recovery ward, I had a severe pain and requested to see a doctor but was told the doctor is dealing with another emergency. It was second day after surgery and I was in severe pain but the doctor didn’t show up.

Pretty good. Service is excellent can’t fault it. I use patient transport. They go out their way for you. Appointment was excellent.
