My experience has been really good

I first had an operation on my hip when I was 14 as I broke it playing football. I had to have the surgery re-done 3 years ago. Today I have come for a follow up on the hip. My experience with the doctor has been really good.

Injections didn't work

I came here last year and was offered the injections in my hip instead of an operation which worked for 4 weeks and then felt worse.

Good at answering any questions I have

I came for an MRI scan and they were waiting for me. All done on time too. Good communication about appointments and they are good at answering any questions that I have.

Helpful and friendly staff

I have an annual check up at oncology. It's really good. The organisation is spot on. They keep to the appointments and time. The staff are friendly and helpful. I have been seeing the same consultant or the last 5 to 6 years. Parking is good too.

Consultant is good

I've come to an outpatients appointment with my consultant today for my knees. I was initially referred from Redditch but it has taken so long. It's good communication about appointments through letters and texts, which has been good. The consultant is good, listens and answers questions. The clinic ran on time. It was really good. They're going to arrange a follow up.

Parking isn't good

Car parking is not good. It's ridiculously small . You could be late to your appointments trying to park. Passes could be given to patients.

We understand that parking on our site can be challenging and we are very limited as to what we can do as there is no additional space to provide parking.
The actual parking is not managed by the ROH as it is done via an external company but we do understand and acknowledge your frustration.

Excellent staff and care

Excellent at the pain clinic. I was meant to go back for my back but my knee is first and they said they would follow up, which they haven't yet. It's been a few months and I will get back in contact with them in case they have forgot. Otherwise the staff and care there is excellent.

Sent me to wrong hospital

Should've gone to Griffins Brook Lane, instead sent me a letter to go to Bristol Rd having taxi costing cost £12.30

I shouldn't have to chase them

I have been waiting 3 years for an appointment to be seen. Seen in April but nothing was done. They said tests needed to be done but nothing happened and no follow up. I called to chase it up and was passed through loads of departments. Eventually I was given an appointment for January. I shouldn't have to chase or feel like were lost in the system.
