Toilets very dated

Outpatients
March 9, 2020
Used to come a lot when my daughter was little, I cannot fault the service - good level of care and treatment. The mobile phone charging unit is really useful. The toilets are dated, the hand dryers didn't work and there's no hook on the back of the door to hang a jacket.

Absolutely Brilliant

Absolutely brilliant - been great with my son. We have 4/5 appointments today and they've been arranged all in one place instead of me going to different departments - even his Oncology doctor is coming over instead of us going to them, making things much easier and the process much smoother - excellent.

Hospital was brilliant

Been quite a few times with my 2 grandchildren. One has kidney problems, leaking fluid - Hospital was brilliant, no problems at all apart from waiting 7 hours to be admitted on the first occasion I attended.
My other grandchild has been 3 times with hearing problems - again great service and care from all staff. They have a good system, I come in, take a ticket and wait to be called which is no problem as we expect to wait for a while.

Really good service - I've been a few times before - I have two children under their care and never had any issues - although parking could be better.

Lack of diagnosis

Son has been coming since eight weeks old to see lung function doctor. Had same doctor for years who didn’t believe there was an issue. Felt bulled down to. The issue got picked up by a different doctor when son was three years old. Should have picked up much earlier if other doctor had listened, run tests & not been so dismissive.

Great hospital, friendly staff.

Great hospital, friendly staff. Parking not the best and can be quite pricey depending how long your stay is. Could be more activities for kids during waiting to be seen as this can be quite long for the kids and get very impatient.
