Excellent help and provision by dieticians

Excellent help and provision by dieticians, they do a check up for my child every 6 months for my child who has Down's Syndrome. I have no doubt that this service is helping with my child's quality of life.

We have been here before and they're fine. We didn't have to wait long to be referred from the GP to the hospital.

Came in for tonsillectomy and to have my adenoids removed. I had to stay for a week but they were really good and kind to me. The referral from my doctors to ENT at the hospital took around 8 months.
They're easy to access

I was referred here from my doctors which took around 5/6 months for me to get an appointment.
We attend many hospitals but this is the best

We have been coming here for over 12 years and the service is exemplary when dealing with all our sons issues such as cleft palate. There has been no delays in his treatment, no problems with admin. Birmingham Children's Hospital is the number one choice. We attend many hospitals, but this one is the best.

My son likes coming here. The staff all interact well with my little one.
Blood test

My doctors said my daughter needed a blood test and gave me a form to make a referral to the Children's Hospital to get an appointment for blood tests. I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment and was given a time but when I got here today, I've had to take a ticket to wait to be called for a blood test. It defeats the object really.
Change in consultant

Previous consultant left at Christmas, but I have only just been made aware of the new arrangements. I had complained to PALS to get the operation for my son and the continuation in service. But the people in the hospital have been great.
